Bio

Annika De Jonge is a classically trained, coloratura soprano. She is a dynamic, versatile artist passionate about traversing the barriers between the Opera and Musical Theatre industries.

 

As a crossover artist, Annika leads with a dedication to impactful storytelling that resonates with audiences across many walks of life. Her creative interests include not only opera and musical theatre but also concert works, voice-over, and modeling - showcasing her varied interest.

 

Among her notable achievements are, her performance as a concert soloist with the University of Michigan Concert Band, her portrayal of the Rooster and the Jay in the University of Michigan's production of "The Cunning Little Vixen," and her performance of Vickey Hobson in a workshop reading of Tom Cipullo's 21st century opera,"Hobson's Choice."

 

Outside of the academic realm, Annika has been a featured voice actor in an audio play for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Furthermore, Annika has participated in various musical theatre cabarets and showcases throughout New York City.
